Winter Wedding Goes Hawaiian

Here's a wedding invitation ensemble I just worked on for a wedding coming up in February. She wanted something red and white and fun, but not a Valentine's theme. She decided to have a 'luau reception' complete with people changing into Hawaiian shirts before coming to the reception, so decided to design invitations that played on that idea. I used a single red hibiscus flower to make the invitations classy yet coordinated, and pulled that thru the rest of the items.

Christmas Cards

Here is a sampling of the Christmas Cards (and a Christmas party invitation) I have done this year. It's so much fun to design a card around the style of a picture, and I love it that people get to mail a little bit of holiday cheer to their friends and family because of something that I made. That's just one of the may joy's of Christmas for me.

Customized Wine Bottle Label

This is a first for me - a corporate customer of mine asked me to design a label for the bottles of wine that were having made at the Cascade Winery. They are going to be giving them as Christmas gifts for some of their clients. Not only is a customized bottle of wine a great Christmas gift, but they are great for party favors, or to have at each table during a wedding reception. Calling All Brides!

Ok all of you brides out there - past, present, and soon to be... I just watched the coolest bride video I've ever seen! It's called "trash the dress" and one of my favorite photographers did this session with 5 brides and a videographer this past fall. Baby Girl Stuff

I'm probably going a little overboard with posting on this new blog - but I have one last thing I'd like to share for now - well an ensemble of things, actually. Addison's stationary: Birth Announcements, Baptism Invitations, and Thank You Notes. I couldn't resist using the ultra-popular chocolate brown and baby pink color combination.

Moving Announcements

I just did these moving announcements for friends in California. They're done on Envelopments 'aruba' cardstock with matching envelopes, and I think they turned out gorgeous!
